Objective :

Reporting into our Finance Manager Switzerland, the Accountant Switzerland will be part of a team of accountants in charge of the group holding company and the 2 Swiss Subsidiaries.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Accounting and administration management of the holding company, including payment transactions and reporting (within Lucanet), in collaboration with Finance head
  • Preparation of annual and interim financial statements incl. reporting according to OR and IFRS / IAS for the holding company + support of the 2 Swiss subsidiaries
  • Comment on deviations from previous year and budget of all Swiss companies
  • Pool cost management
  • Ongoing plausibility checks of basic accounting figures, in particular trading margins at product level
  • Management of physical files of monthly closings for the yearly as well as tax audit
  • Filing of physical vendor invoices for tax audit purposes
  • Regular account reconciliation with customers and suppliers (IC with Lucanet)
  • Assistance to accounting departments of the other Swiss group companies
  • Control and responsibility for the office Cash Box and posting of cash expenses
  • Handling and posting Swiss employees expenses reports (personal and credit cards)
  • Responsibility for Dunning system, execution of the measures for the collection of outstanding receivables
  • Intra-group allocations via cost centers
  • VAT declarations and documentations
  • Support with projects, especially IT

Pre-requisites:

Skills & Competencies

  • Good written and spoken German + English
  • Good oral Swiss German
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Quick Learner with Multi-Tasking Skills
  • Should be a Team Player

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a Swiss company
  • Knowledge of Navision BC365 is a plus
