Your role

This responsible role involves the reconciliation of transactions with our custodians and cash correspondents, including monitoring of any difference identified. Become part of this important team in analyzing potential discrepancies and proactively contributing to their timely resolution to minimize the bank's risks. The exciting, international environment includes close collaboration with different areas of the bank and an overall understanding of the related operational transactions.

Your responsibilities
  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly/annual reconciliation processes by identifying discrepancies and allocating them to the relevant departments
  • Reconcile physical securities and land registry extracts by physical stock taking and coordinate special reconciliations completed by various teams
  • Investigate issues, monitor open items and follow up on resolutions
  • Coordinate special reconciliations completed by various teams within Operations
  • Participate in the annual Audit in relation to the reconciliation process
  • Deputize team members in the reconciliation team, manage shareholder disclosures and take up ad-hoc tasks upon requests
Your profile
  • Commercial degree, preferably in a bank
  • Several years of experience in banking/financial sector (area of operations/back-office is an advantage)
  • Good MS Excel knowledge, Avaloq is an advantage
  • Strong numerical, analytical and data handling skills
  • Accurate, reliable and independent working method even under increased workload
  • Open to new ideas with interest in development and innovation in the corresponding area
  • Written and oral communication skills in German and English are required
