Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform financial review on and develop models for client portfolio constituents using fundamental and technical analysis
  • Prepare financial reports on equities on request or by initiative for circulation internally and among international client base
  • Participate in evaluation of private equity investment opportunities
  • Assist in expansion and development of international client base
  • Track performance of investment strategies and client portfolio performance
  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly market summaries to firm and firm clients
  • Design presentation and marketing materials for research group and for group as a whole
  • Maintain and improve research website

Position Requirements

 

  • Minimum two years of experience in conducting financial research preferably with a brokerage or asset manager
  • Native English-speaker
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation abilities; candidate will be required to demonstrate his/her capacity to produce intelligible, long-form written work in English.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive fundamental and/or technical analysis on single stocks, commodities, indices on a deadline
  • Command of fundamental structure and regulation of OTC derivatives market
  • Experience with international financial markets and comfort with cross-border communication and business protocol
  • Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, WordPress, Photoshop
  • Proficiency in designing, maintaining websites, preferably for the financial services sector
