Job Description Summary
Would you like to become part of a global team of subject matter experts (SME) with financial accounting expertise in AP, AR and / or R2R? The goal of this position is to drive process simplifications, automation and innovation in the field of Accounts Payables by working on projects, operational target setting, providing training and resolving complex operational issues, driving harmonization and compliance. An integral part of the job is to be up to date with industry standards and new developments for the respective area of expertise.
The position can be based in Visp, Basel or Manchester.
Key Accountabilities and Duties
Process improvements / Project work: * Propose and drive process simplification, automation and innovation in alignment with the GPOs (Global Process Owners) ensuring successful implementation * Provide subject matter expertise for:
- Global Business Service Organisation initiatives such as harmonization, process simplifications),
- GPO (e.g. process innovations, new technology implementation
- Corporate projects
- Business requests (e.g. integration or set-up of new entities through M&A)
Performance Management: * Define key performance indicators and targets for Shared Service Centre (SSC) and retained organization, perform bench-marking with industry (KPIs, innovation).
Training & complex issues support: * Provide structured training to ensure new processes and tools are implemented globally. * Support SSC and retained organization with complex and non-standard process or system related issues; in collaboration with retained teams provide support for SSC.
