For the headquarter in Bern we are looking for a
Tax Compliance Specialist 100%, (m/f)
The main purpose of the role is to ensure that all tax compliance matters in all 26 MS Global countries are managed according to Group Directive and in line with local tax legislations.
As Key contact person for all tax-compliance related activities you will work closely with external tax providers and internal partners. You will take the responsibility for the complete, timely execution of Tax Accounting operations jointly with the Head of Tax. In addition as Tax compliance specialist you will ascertain compliance with tax laws and regulations, specifically by ensuring due filling of local tax declarations, timely payment of taxes and by supporting local tax audits of all countries of activities – under the supervision of the Head of Tax.
Be responsible for tax service provider requests, monitor deliverables including budget & gap analysis
First level review of prepared transfer pricing documentation: local/master file package
Support Tax Knowledge Management on 26 Tax Jurisdictions
Perform reconciliation of Tax Returns to IFRS accounts
First level review of annual / bi-annual / monthly tax returns prepared by service provider
Provide information related to the preparation of the annual Tax Returns
Reconciliation of Deferred tax accounts
Prepare current tax accounts calculation and reconciliations
Manage Indirect Tax matters: Liaise with shared service center & external tax provider, review Indirect Tax returns, reconciliations & payments
Support during quarter, year-end & statutory closing
Must have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar function with focus on indirect & direct Tax expertise in an international environment
University degree in business administration or similar education coupled with outstanding Accounting (Swiss Statutory & IFRS ) & Tax background (Swiss & International Tax law)
Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Team work and ability to perform tasks independently
Cultural sensitivity, ability to communicate and present in a clear & concise manner
Solution oriented, ability to cope with complexity
Experience with ERP Accounting Software/SAP FI/CO/SD and business warehouse is required
Fluent English and German skills (in writing and speaking)
Outstanding ability to react flexible to different requirements, capability to work accurately and resourcefully while under tight deadlines or during peaks
Capability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and flexible environment
