Responsible for leading the Regulatory Compliance Risk function and being a steward for a strong compliance risk culture. In charge of the execution of the Regulatory Compliance Program and annual Regulatory Risk Assessment. Specifically, with respect to all applicable Swiss banking laws and regulations as well the regulatory framework established by Corporate area.

Responsibilities :

- Partner with the Compliance Director and Legal Counsel for the interpretation of applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.

- Manage regulatory framework and requirements for the bank and its subsidiaries with a focus on Swiss regulation (governance of LSFIN, Cross-Boarder, EMIR, Market Abuse, FACTA, CRS, AMLO-FINMA, CDB20 and other relevant regulations in relations to the bank activities).

- Take care of the implementation and surveillance of the bank regulations and the documentation of findings and tracking of remediation actions.

- Establish and maintain a regulatory framework (policies, procedures and guidelines) in addition to being the key contact within the Bank for regulatory purposes.

- Assist in the reviews and provides advice and comments on various policies and developments as necessary.

- Manage and implement the follow-up of other regulatory matters and projects related to the Bank Group.

- Monitor regulatory developments in various jurisdictions and identify global regulatory trends, evaluating business implications, assessing proposed actions and preparing respective Senior Management communications.

- Responsible for the annual regulatory risk assessment and regulatory compliance program.

- Assess regulatory compliance monitoring program to ensure alignment with rules, laws and regulations, enhanced industry standards and with Corporate area in order to minimise the risk of loss via regulatory or civil penalties.

- Responsible for the compilation and preparation of regulatory reports to the corresponding committees, responses to FINMA enquiries as well as other audit requests.

- Promote compliance awareness among all bank staff through the development of training related to regulatory compliance.

- Active promotion of a risk management culture by encouraging team to embrace appropriate risk practices and supporting team members in fulfilling risk management responsibilities.

- Compile corrective action plans from the various departments to address the items noted in the Bank's report of examinations, internal or others.

- Assist in the implementation and report to Senior Management and Compliance Risk Management as well as other compliance matters.

Job requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Law with deep knowledge of Swiss regulations in banking industry.

- 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency, with Swiss financial regulations or regulatory change with a background in regulatory projects, legal, internal audit or consulting.

- In depth experience and knowledge of regulatory compliance and strong risks and control management skills as well as experience leading training and developing training programs.

- CP/AML, CRMC, ACAMS, CAS Compliance Management.

- Languages : English and French. Additional language is a plus.

- Ability to effectively communicate ideas, actions and decisions, whether verbally or written, in order to advance the strategy of the organisation and drive continuous progressive change.
