For our Risk Management department, we are currently looking for a

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

  • Lead the division’s team member, allocate the yearly objectives and assess the performance.
  • Ensure that key internal controls in the Bank are well implemented and efficient and that risks are correctly mitigated.
  • Review the Bank’s internal processes and ensure that other departments are appropriately defining, operating and performing their controls.
  • Develop the risk management framework of the Bank.
  • Propose missions to the Audit & Risk committee / General Management and establish regular formal reports.
  • Maintain a regulatory update on the risks monitored by the Internal Control team.
  • Ensure the coordination of internal audits.
  • Follow-up of the recommendations of the internal and external auditors, the regulatory authorities and other third parties’ reviews.
  • Review and ensure conformity of external reporting (SNB Statistics, etc.).
  • Identify new regulations impacting the organization of the Bank and coordinate internal project management with the respective Head of departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent with a focus on Finance, Audit or Control.
  •  5-7 years of proven professional experience in a similar position in a Bank or in the banking audit sector.
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss Banking environment and related rules and regulations.
  • Ability and willingness to effectively challenge business lines regarding all aspects of risk arising from the bank’s activities.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work and manage projects with autonomy.
  • Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of banking transactions related to Commodity Trade Finance and Treasury would be an asset.
  • Organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Precise, accurate and attentive to details.
  • Very good team spirit.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Very familiar with IT tools
