Location: GENEVA

Job Summary

To provide high quality finance and business support to the EMEA and APAC Marketing Leaders for the Newell Brands Writing Business. Supporting the operating cycle and control of key marketing spend and provide Marketing and Finance Leaders with reporting and analysis to improve visibility on performance. Support leadership in the execution of the functional business strategy, maximising return on investments and support the regions' growth agenda. Ensuring compliance to our processes, accounting principles and obligations while being the guardian of ethics and integrity.

Job Duties

  • Support the EMEA and APAC Marketing Finance team on a daily basis to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Act as a Finance partner to Marketing leaders and their teams, providing financial support and expertise to ensure delivery of short-term and long-term goals
  • Support the operating cycle, track and control advertising and promotional spend, ensuring adherence to accounting principles
  • Responsibility of month end processes (accruals and adjustments)
  • Contribute to the financial estimate cycle and annual budget process
  • Provide and develop reporting tools for the marketing community to improve visibility on performance
  • Support the new product introduction process, ensuring financial integrity and reporting on performance
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and project support as may be required

Required profile:


  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting/Finance, or equivalent
  • 2+ years relevant hands on financial experience
  • Excellent communication skills-
  • Proactively plan and prioritize work load
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving dexterity
  • Ability to work to tight timelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Able to travel as appropriate and work in an international environment
  • Fluent in English
