For the Swiss Manufacturing Plant, based in Winterthur (Switzerland), we are looking for a
Senior Financial Analyst 100% (w/m)
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Support / Prepare the monthly actuals and month-end closing task and corresponding analysis and ensure the Hyperion Financials are reported accurately and timely
Ensure that reliable information is available to internal customers and senior management at appropriate times so that sound financial decisions are made
Support / Prepare annual budget process, quarterly and weekly projections
Consolidate and review the KPI reporting and STAR reporting (savings initiatives)
Fixed Assets Management for Zimmer Manufacturing Switzerland, including monthly additions, disposals, retirement, fixed assets counts, etc
Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) administration, ensuring all CAR requests are properly completed and approved, tracking status, timely activation of asset and monthly reporting to management including variance analysis. Both offline and in our eCAR system
Capex Tracker to analyse if Business case assumptions are being met
Monthly task also includes the execution of the depreciation run, reconciliation between Fixed Assets ledger and Financial Statement
Support and validate various manufacturing related saving projects as well as procurement and freight saving initiatives within STAR tracker tool
Be a pro-active business partner, identifying potential savings / efficiency
Maintain internal controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Participate in audits, both internal and external
Supports / Participate on the overall EMEA cost accounting tasks and improvement projects
Ad-hoc analysis as required
Your qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of experience in finance/accounting within an international setting
Financial Planning and Analysis experience is preferred
Strong analytical ability and accounting knowledge, including understanding of U.S. GAAP
Profound computer skills, SAP and Hyperion are a strong plus.
Ability to influence others and drive results in a demanding work environment
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Ability to recommend and implement process improvements. And to set the right priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to deliver, meet deadlines and be result orientated
Ability to communicate both orally and in written form in a clear and concise manner
Fluent oral and written communication abilities in English and German, any additional European language is an asset
