How you can make a difference:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader Subledgers to manage our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. This role involves leading a diverse team comprised of two members in Switzerland and eight members in Romania, who are part of our in-house shared services team. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial operations and enhancing team productivity. The individual will also have GL Accounting responsibilities for one of our subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of both A/R and A/P teams, ensuring efficient transaction processing and financial management
Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures that meet company and regulatory requirements
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting
Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to facilitate integrated financial management
Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of growth and continuous improvement
Monitor team performance, providing guidance and feedback to ensure goals are met and standards are maintained
Address and resolve any issues that arise in the accounts receivable and payable processes
Responsible for all GL Accounting aspects related to one of our subsidiaries
That's what you bring along:
Higher business education (university/university of applied sciences) in accounting, finance, economics, or a comparable field of study
Several years of sound experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international company
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate and drive team performance
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Very good knowledge of German and English
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a remote and culturally diverse team
