Java Developer - Actico Platform

Java Developer - Actico Platform vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications
• Operating and maintaining IT services within defined SLAs, including monitoring service dependencies
• Managing deployment pipelines and performing deployments across different environments
• Supporting operational tasks, ensuring system stability, and resolving technical issues
• Collaborating with team members on service operation, support, and maintenance responsibilities
• Utilizing experience with Business Rule Engines, preferably Actico Platform, to enhance service functionality

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitLab, Octopus, Helm Charts, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/RHEL 8 environments
• Expertise in system engineering and development utilizing the JAVA technology stack
• Strong experience with Oracle Database and SQL, along with understanding of integrating RESTful web services
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse IDE for development and debugging, as well as familiarity with the Actico Platform
• University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Language skills: English
