What you'll do
- Legal advice on Swiss and international capital market related issues (primarily regulatory and securities law matters and civil law issues), litigation and enforcement as well as (Swiss) supervisory law
- Advising the business lines and other internal stakeholders on all legal matters including but not limited to financial market laws, IT law, (Cloud) Outsourcing and Third Party Risk Management related legal questions, pension and insurance law, corporate and commercial law
- Advising in projects such as strategic Group related transformation projects, audit and regulators request, projects setting up new business
- Legal assessment, drafting and structuring of (tailor made) agreements and commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, intra group service level agreements, index licenses, distribution agreements (both sides), and related documentation
- Legal assessment, reviewing and/or drafting of Group related documentation, including but not limited to drafting policies, review marketing material in relation to data protection questions, review of press releases
- Review and set-up of financial products, complex financial transactions and SPV structures
- Assuming responsibility for corporate governance and commercial matters and creating related documentation
- Implementing national and international legal and regulatory developments, laws and regulations relevant to the Leonteq Group and assuming the role as Legal Project Manager if required
What you'll need
- Master degree in law
- Admitted to the Swiss Bar
- At least 4-5 years of experience PQE
- Knowledge of Swiss financial market laws, regulations and supervisory law
- Interest and experience in legal themes, national and international financial markets-and financial instruments-/derivates regulations
- Experience in the structured products and/or OTC derivatives area
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Fluency in German and English

- Knowledge of further languages
- Knowledge of European market laws
