Pricing and Business Analyst

As a member of the Finance Department, you will be responsible for defining and implementing pricing policies/strategies by product and by customer. You will also ensure the preparation of commercial offers in alignment with key stakeholders.
In this role, you will actively contribute to commercial and financial analysis by customer and segment, ensuring consistency across markets to support the preparation of tailored offers and responses to tenders.
Additionally, you will support the controlling function by overseeing the financial aspects of marketing commissions and third-party agreements. You will contribute as well to costs monitoring, ensuring data accuracy, analyzing variances, and supporting the continuous improvement of internal reporting tools and processes.

ROLE: 

Business analysis and Sales Support

·    Conduct cost, pricing, and profitability studies related to our clients/products,
·    Develop product positioning proposals in collaboration with the marketing, sales, and finance teams,
·    Implement decision-support tools for the sales teams and management (e.g., tenders, product launches, etc.),
·    Build a knowledge base on both the technical and commercial specificities of the products, with support from the Sales and R&I teams,
·    Prepare commercial offers and documents in coordination with the relevant manager, including product descriptions and value propositions, and analyze their impact on profitability,
·    Participate in the analysis and maintenance of pricing data to optimize its use,
·    Record and update commercial data in the system to support the creation of various commercial documents (orders, quotes, offers),
·    Manage the credit note issuance validation process following commercial decisions (price changes, year-end discounts, etc.).

Controlling activities 

·    Manage commissions and related third-party agreements from a financial perspective including preapproval workflow, financial modelling, calculations and accruals,  
·    Execute month-end closing activities and contribute to forecast and budget processes,
·    Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly financial reports to Function Heads and Finance Management,
·    Provide financial support for projects and various internal analysis.

PROFILE: 

·    Educational background in Business Economics, University of Applied Sciences (HEG) or Business School, complemented by 3 to 5 years of experience in a Finance-related role,
·    Fluent in English and French; proficiency in a third language is an asset,
·    Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Power BI and SAP/SAP S/4HANA,
·    Excellent analytical skills and strong numerical aptitude,
·    Customer-oriented, curious, and with a keen interest in business, products, and solutions,
·    Strong negotiation skills,
·    Diplomatic communication style and a high standard of professional ethics.
