Senior Compliance Officer 80-100% (m/w/d)

About the job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Compliance Officer to support our Compliance Department, starting immediately or at a mutually agreed time. You will advise and support our business units in fulfilling the full range of compliance obligations of a digital asset bank. You will play an integral role within our Legal and Compliance department and serve as a key driver in positioning Celsion for success at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets. Your ability to manage complex schedules, facilitate internal processes, and maintain a high level of professionalism will be key to supporting our strategic priorities and helping position Celsion as a leader in the fintech industry.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements (such as SPG, SPV, WPDG, WPDV, BankG, BankV, FATCA, CRS, CARF, FMA guidelines, EU regulations, etc.)
• Perform client onboarding checks as well as regular KYC and PEP reviews in accordance with the applicable regulatory and internal framework
• Perform transaction monitoring and make precise assessments and draw the right conclusions for follow-up activities
• Preparing suspicious activity reports for the SFIU
• Cooperation with internal and external auditors and with the FMA
• Provide advice to account management and senior management on AML/CTF and other compliance related aspects
• Provide training to the Company's Board, Management and staff in compliance matters
• Assist the Head Compliance in managing and executing key compliance initiatives

What you offer

• Bachelor or Masters degree (preferably in Law, Business Law or equivalent) from a reputable university
• Professional experience of at least 5 years in Compliance within a bank in Switzerland or Liechtenstein is a must.
• Profound knowledge and experience in the Liechtenstein regulatory framework for financial services and exposure to FMA
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and confidently across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and service orientation, particularly in dealing with confidential matters.
• Excellent judgement, analytical rigor, structured and clear communication, business pragmatism and teamwork
• First working experience in a fintech environment with touch points in digital assets, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies is an asset
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with the ability to produce high-quality documents and presentations.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
