Portfolio Manager

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

• Manage capital on behalf of the firm and investors
• Implement their strategy to generate performance
• Execute trades in relevant instruments for their portfolio
• Pursue a global macro/interest rate focused strategy
• Actively collaborate with other desks and communicate with management
• Support the growth of their business with additional hires and manage this team
• Conduct ongoing risk analysis of their portfolio as appropriate

WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

Essential

• Significant experience within an established buy side firm
• Proven ability of managing investors capital
• Proven track record
• Experience in managing a team of quantitative researchers/analysts
• Stylistically both directional and relative value strategies could be considered
• Ability to project and explain their investment process
• Deep understanding of macro/rates markets and requisite instruments
• Relevant and appropriate degree
