Scylla AG is an internationally operating shipping company specializing in inland navigation, with 5 land-based offices (with a total of about 100 employees) and around 2500 staff members on river cruise ships. The Scylla fleet consists of 42 of the most beautiful, modern, and comfortable river cruise ships, all sailing under the Swiss flag across all European rivers between Amsterdam and the Black Sea, as well as on the Rhône, Saône, Seine, and Elbe. The ships accommodate up to 220 passengers, offering above average and personalized service and are chartered by various tour operators from Switzerland, Germany, the UK, the USA, and more.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• General Ledger entries and reclassifications
• Monthly accruals (prepaid expenses/accrued liabilities).
• Assistance with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Monthly intercompany reconciliation as well as calculation and preparation of intercompany recharges within the group.
• General administrative activities

Furthermore:

• Active participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings as well as the annual audit.
• Ad Hoc projects

Your Profile:

• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken. Any additional foreign languages are a plus.
• Completed commercial training, preferably in the fiduciary sector.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
• Experience with Business Central (Navision) is an advantage.
• Motivated, team-oriented personality with an independent working style and high sense of responsibility.
