Due to continued growth, our client is expanding their data engineering team. The ideal Senior Data Engineer brings over 10 years of experience in data engineering roles and has worked across several end-to-end data platform projects. Our client offers an agile environment, flat hierarchies, and the opportunity to work on impactful greenfield initiatives.

Senior Data Engineer
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement scalable data models using Data Vault 2.0
- Build and maintain modern data pipelines in an enterprise-grade platform
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, governed data
- Optimise data workflows and write advanced SQL for data processing
- Contribute to architectural discussions and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate within a Scrum team of 6, part of a wider 350+ tech organisation
Key requirements include:
- Deep experience with Data Vault data modelling - this is essential
- Advanced SQL and Python skills; experience with large data volumes and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud-based data environments
- Comfortable in agile, fast-paced teams; Scrum experience preferred
- Fluency in German is required (written and spoken)
