Finance Business Partner (ID1838)

Short Description

As a member of the AO Finance Business Partnering team, you drive the Finance agenda with reporting, planning and analysis and actively support the AO unit management in the decision making process. 

To do so, you need to thoroughly understand the activities, processes and needs of your assigned AO units and be motivated to challenge, consult and interact with your counterparts. 

As a Finance Business Partner, it is essential to leverage the collective expertise within the team, take ownership of various projects, and actively contribute to maintaining and enhancing both quality and productivity as a committed and professional team member.

Main Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for providing Finance insights and decision-making support to the assigned AO business unit(s)
  • Manage the financial core process (planning, forecast and year-end closing) incl. support and analysis for the assigned business units 
  • Provide area reporting, performance analysis and commentaries 
  • Work closely with the AO unit management in providing and implementing an integrated finance service delivery
  • Provide operational business specific finance support (e.g. open debtor management)
  • Drive improvements in strategic, operational, and financial processes to boost transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency across the organization
  • Proactively participate in project evaluations and business case development for key projects and capital expenditures 
  • Support AO management with ad hoc analysis 
Main Requirements

Educational requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Finance, Business administration or similar
  • Other higher professional education certification (e.g. eidg. Fachausweis, Höhere Fachprüfung, or equivalent) 

Job experience:

  • Proven track record in business controlling and financial reporting or other relevant field

Language skills:

  • Fluent written and verbal English, German is preferred, other languages are a plus
