Senior Consultant - Financial Services ESG Advisory

Your contribution to KPMG

• Participate in advising our clients on sustainability reporting, ESG and climate strategy, targets and risks as well as other sustainability topics (e.g. sustainable finance topics)
• Accompany our clients in the preparation of their (double) materiality analyses and support them in the preparation of their non-financial reporting, e.g. by performing gap analyses
• Support our clients in integrating sustainability into their corporate governance systems and help shape processes for managing and reporting non-financial topics
• Work in multidisciplinary teams in a global environment
• Show entrepreneurial mindset and develop new business ideas
• Put your talents to use and drive innovation
• Develop team members

This is what makes you successful

• Master's or Bachelor's degree and strong academic record in Finance, Economics, Non-Financial Reporting, ESG Regulation, Sustainability and Financial Services. At least 2 years of financial services industry and consulting experience, good understanding of key sustainability issues of financial institutions.
• Strong drive to gain experience in the financial services industry and consulting, basic understanding of strategy, business and operating models as well as processes
• Passionate to support the implementation of projects in international environments
• Good understanding of industry trends & challenges in sustainable finance, including related regulatory and reporting requirements
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at all levels in an organization
• Excellent German and very good English skills
