Senior Business Controller 80-100% (incl. 2 days homeoffice)

Our client is a global manufacturing business based in the Winterthur area and is seeking a Senior Business Controller to join one of their Business Groups. The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping the financial success of the business group. The candidate will be responsible for financial steering, analysis, and decision support, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, budgeting, and mid-term planning.  

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Controller who wants to act as a true business partner. 

For the Head Office in the Winterthur area we are looking for a:

• Contact person & business partner for the senior management and CFO of the business group 
• Analysis, monitoring and reconciliation of costs with the goal to maximize margins 
• Own the budget, planning and forecast process as well as execution of month-end closing activities  
• Preparation of reports, analyses, and key performance indicators, along with recommendations for action 
• Optimization and further development of controlling processes and tools 
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulatory requirements 

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration – a professional certification is plus  
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a manufacturing or industrial services business 
• Solid experience in cost controlling and business partnering  
• Excellent PC skills as well as SAP ERP  is needed 
• Business fluent in English - strong presentation and communication skills required 
• Critical thinking and analytical skills with excellent attention to quality and detail 
• Open-minded team player who is able to manage a highly versatile and multicultural team
