Portfolio Manager / Analyst - Medtech / Healthcare Sector
Your Role
As Portfolio Manager / Analyst at MIV Asset Management AG, a subsidiary of Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are focused on the Medtech sector and responsible for: identifying high conviction stock ideas, conducting portfolio management and risk management activities, being part of MIV Asset Management team.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and select stocks in the Medtech sector for a concentrated global equity portfolio of high conviction ideas
- Discuss and present your investment cases to the MIV team
- Help in portfolio construction and manage a global medtech fund together with the MIV team
- Perform reporting and administrative tasks in an efficient and effective way
- Present the MIV global medtech fund to clients
- Develop analytical tools and improve existing investment processes
Your Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in the field of equity analysis and portfolio management with exposure to the medtech sector
- University degree in a relevant field
- Industry specific knowledge is required
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, experience with Bloomberg
- Quantitative analysis experience and knowledge of Python or other programming languages will be considered as a plus
- Capability to work independently
- Hands-on mentality as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in German and English
