China Construction Bank (the second-largest bank in the world) opened its Zurich Branch in 2016, becoming the first Chinese bank in Switzerland and the only RMB clearing bank for Switzerland. Our goal is to provide reliable, high-quality, and efficient financial services to Swiss companies with business relations in China and Chinese companies with business relations in Switzerland. We primarily focus on corporate banking for top companies from selected industries, large and medium-sized clients, and support their trade and investment relationships. Additionally, we are also developing our business with medium-sized, family-owned Swiss companies to help them establish their presence in the Chinese market. Our offerings include commercial lending, trade finance, treasury, RMB clearing and settlement, RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (RQFII), and other banking products and service. Our bank has experienced steady growth, and we recognize that our people are a key asset. Currently, we employ about 40 professionals from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.

We are looking for a highly motivated intern in IT.

Your main responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to staff, including hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware (PCs, printers, peripherals)
• Help manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and other systems
• Support the setup and installation of workstations and desks
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
• Assist with the deployment and patching of software and operating systems
• Support IT security tasks, such as antivirus monitoring and vulnerability checks
• Collaborate on special IT projects as assigned

Your qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems (including upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
