Multi-Asset Investment Strategist
Job Description
The Asset Allocation & Economic Research (AAR) team sits at the core of LGT Capital Partners' multi-asset investment process. Bringing together deep macroeconomic expertise with quantitative asset allocation capabilities, the team develops the insights and frameworks that guide our long-term investment strategies.
This role combines investment research and platform development, including the following responsibilities:
Support cross-departmental investment projects and take ownership of selected research topics and initiatives;
Contribute to research on secular trends, macro scenarios, and capital market assumptions; help translate these views into actionable investment implications;
Coordinate the annual strategic asset allocation (SAA) review of the LGT Endowment and related analytical workstreams;
Support the investment committee (IC) chair by preparing agendas, materials and documentation, and by coordinating follow-ups;
Contribute to strengthening scalable client solutions and the build-out of OCIO-style capabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Economics;
3-5 years of relevant professional experience in asset allocation, investment strategy or consulting;
Strong affinity for digital tools and practical experience applying AI to enhance investment research or analytical workflows;
Structured, reliable and self-driven, with excellent time management and organizational skills;
Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to go the extra mile;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
