General Counsel

We are looking for a General Counsel to join an investment management firm in Zurich. Swiss Bar Admission is a must have, together with German and English language capabilities.

About the role:

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to senior management and the Board on all legal and regulatory matters
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six legal professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
• Oversee legal aspects of investment activities, including fund structuring, transactions, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure adherence to Swiss and international financial regulations
• Manage external counsel and legal service providers efficiently
• Support strategic initiatives, including new product launches and cross-border expansion
• Identify and mitigate legal risks across the organization

About the candidate:

• Swiss Bar qualification (mandatory)
• Fluency in both German and English (mandatory)
• Significant experience in investment management, asset management, or financial services
• Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams
• Strong knowledge of Swiss financial market regulations and international legal frameworks
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
