Trade Finance Expert / Letters of Credit

About the Employer

A well-established player in international trade and cross-border financial transactions, we are strengthening our team and seeking a Trade Finance Expert with strong expertise in documentary instruments, capable of structuring and securing complex international transactions in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the issuance, advising, confirmation and monitoring of Letters of Credit and bank guarantees
• Ensure documentary compliance in line with UCP 600, ISBP, ICC rules and SWIFT standards
• Identify and assess documentary, contractual and operational risks
• Maintain and develop relationships with correspondent banks and international counterparties
• Contribute to internal process improvement, control frameworks and team training

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 10 years of experience in Trade Finance (banking, trading or financial institutions)
• Strong expertise in documentary trade instruments, compliance and risk management
• Proficient with digital tools (SWIFT, Excel, Trade Finance systems)
• Languages: French and English required, German is an asset
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication abilities
