Job description:
  • Lead and execute banking-related audit and advisory engagements, using a risk-based approach to evaluate and enhance processes and controls.
  • Prepare clear and impactful audit reports for Management and the Audit Committee, articulating key observations and offering practical, insightful recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain high-quality audit documentation, ensuring thorough analysis and well-supported conclusions.
  • Ensure all audit activities are conducted in accordance with professional standards and the approved audit plan.
  • Manage assigned audit projects, coordinating effectively with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Act as a team leader in the delivery of audit engagements, ensuring alignment with the approved audit plan.

Duration: 6-months

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Work Format: Hybrid

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive audit experience within the financial services sector, a central bank, or an international financial institution, with a proven track record of leading internal audit engagements and managing high-performing audit teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational risk management.
  • Thorough understanding of business processes across front, middle, and back-office functions.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
