We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager that has deep knowledge and understanding of Depositary and Trustee Banks.
Senior Accounting Manager - Depositary & Trustee
Key Responsibilities:
Lead accounting and financial control activities for the Swiss branch.
- Direct management of one staff member.
Act as the main finance representative with local governing bodies, regulators, and auditors.
Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements specific to depositary banking.
Oversee processes managed by shared service teams to maintain operational excellence.
Provide insights and guidance on regulatory changes, business developments, and accounting policies.
Manage and mentor the local finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, control, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA or equivalent) or extensive experience in audit, consulting, or financial control.
Strong understanding of depositary banking operations, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters to senior stakeholders.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and financial functions.
- English and German business fluency.
Proficiency in financial systems (Oracle experience preferred).
