Job Description
This position will be assisting our Listed Private Equity team in order to support the investment processes, maintain and expand the investment universe and help with several data related tasks. The Listed Private Equity Team focuses on investment opportunities in public markets associated with private equity. Such opportunities include listed private equity funds, public private equity managers and private equity-backed public companies. The team is responsible for investment analysis, portfolio construction, trading, monitoring, and client communication related to the listed private equity investments managed by LGT Capital Partners.
This student position is designed to be a part-time role that includes min. 2 working days per week and offers flexibility to work more during the semester break. This is a great opportunity for students who are able to commit to this role for at least 18 months. Start date is as soon as possible. The successful candidate joining the Listed Private Equity team will be entrusted with the following tasks:
Supporting the management of the investment strategy;
Maintaining and updating company financials and models;
Preparing slide decks summarizing investment opportunities;
Helping with screening of ongoing deal flow according to existing frameworks;
Conducting independent research on specialized, current topics;
Supporting the team with day-to-day investment analysis, risk analysis, monitoring and administrative tasks.
Requirements
Requirements
Currently studying business, economics or similar subjects with an affinity for financial markets and company analysis;
Proficient in English, German is a plus;
Strong MS office skills, in particular Excel;
Previous internship in financial industry/corporate finance a plus;
Ability to work to challenging deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality;
Pro-active and motivated team player.
