The one thing they all have in common is that they seek to challenge the status quo, are imaginative and have the ability to offer a fresh perspective.YOUR MISSION:Act as support to the Compliance Operations Team in all day-to-day operational tasks. As part of a wider technology platform and back-office processing outsourcing (BPO) offering, Lombard Odier is currently offering a service of correspondent banking to medium/small banks. As second line of defence, perform AML controls for these BPO clients transfers (Swift Correspondent Monitoring Tool for SWIFT payments), analyse tailored scenarios downloaded from our Cash TRF platform (SIC payments);As second line of defence, perform FIRCOSOFT sanctions controls (IT system detecting possible matches that are automatically flagged and must be further investigated in order to release payments). Where necessary, assist the Payment Processing Team for complex cases. Assist Compliance IT and Compliance Sanctions in the fine tuning of algorithms;Perform annual External Asset Manager reviews (including decentralized ones). Conduct EAM quality and risk review in coordination with RM, Group and Market Heads, Legal and BRM. Perform EAM screening (Pythagoras), checks on EAM documentation files;Operational tasks for Global Assets + unit (Global custody) to be defined in a second phase;DESIRED PROFILE:2 to 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally within Private Banking;Good understanding of the Swiss regulatory environment;Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required or evidence of comparable academic / work achievement;Ability to summarize complex topics, to make sound proposals, including escalation when appropriate, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and against short deadlines;Fluent in English and French;Resident in Switzerland.If you recognise yourself in this description, then please do apply.
