About the role
The Head of IT Security, under the supervision of the Head of Information Technology, will be responsible for the security of the Bank's information systems, which includes the Geneva Head Office and its branches/offices in Luxembourg and Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Provide the Bank with the highest standard of security in all aspects of its IT systems, networks, telecommunications, data, information and business applications in order to protect it from all possible risks.
- Ensuring that IT division’s internal control systems conform with the Bank's IT Security Policy and Directives.
- Conduct a continuous assessment of current IT security practices and systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in the development of an information security strategy based on the Bank's objectives and strategy.
- Manage and supervise the unit, , define/allocate the respective objectives and evaluate the yearly individual performance.
- Participate in the development of the division’s policies, directives and procedures, and ensure due implementation and communication.
- Always seek for improvements in terms of efficiency, productivity, quality, internal customer service and workflows through regular review of the business flows, adaptation of the systems, or any other suitable measure.
- Act as a member of different working groups or committees of the Bank as defined in the internal documents, if and when required.
Your profile
- Master in Computer science / Cyber security (Master EPF or Uni or MAS-Infosec).
- At least 7-10 years of proven experience in IT security / Cyber security in the banking or financial sector.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity reference standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and methods for analyzing attacks and security vulnerability.
- Certifications in IT Security CISSP or equivalent are required.
- Good experience & knowledge of the "best IT security practices" and operational security, Identity and Access Management.
- Excellent knowledge of regulations and security standards applicable to banks in Switzerland (knowledges of the relevant FINMA circulars, best practices for banks).
- Strong experience in IT, cybersecurity threats /risks, vulnerabilities and cyber-attack.
- Experience with risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning in a banking environment
- Very good understanding of security practices in networking and Cloud.
- Analytical and rigorous mindset, excellent organizational skills and ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Strong capacity to withstand stress.
- Service and team oriented.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in French, with very good skills in English (spoken and written).
- Swiss residency.
