Tax Accounting Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax
Your contribution to KPMG
- Calculating, advising on tax positions (current and deferred taxes) in financial statements prepared under IFRS
- Supporting our clients with tax reporting obligations
- Supporting our audit teams as the tax specialist on group and component audits, applying specialist knowledge and coordinating international teams
- Support the development of tools and standardized solutions in connection with tax accounting and reporting tasks
- Support on complex and multidisciplinary projects, taking on project management roles and driving projects forward
- Cross-functional collaboration with experts from other divisions and other tax specialists, particularly in the areas of International and Swiss Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and VAT
- Close cooperation and coordination with our foreign KPMG offices on tax audits and projects for internationally active Swiss companies
This is what makes you successful
- Completed bachelor's degree in economics, accounting and finance or similar, ideally completed by knowledge on tax law
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax and accounting topics
- Fluency in English, French and German skills are an advantage
- Open and communicative personality with a solution-oriented and team player mindset
- Able to work under pressure and be flexible for a seasonal business model
- Understanding of US GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER are considered a plus
- Experience with IFRS is a must
- Experience with reporting tools such as Alteryx and Power BI
