Your Mission:
As Head of Investor Relations, you will be responsible for building and nurturing a premier community of investors, aligning high-quality capital and funding with strategic support, particularly on an international scale. You will position this community, alongside our Investor Day, as a pivotal event for international investors seeking innovation opportunities in Switzerland. Your role will ensure that startups have optimal access to funding, under the best possible conditions, to facilitate and accelerate their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and engage a community of dedicated investors.
- Attract and retain high-quality investors, including lead and repeat investors, to strengthen the park’s ecosystem.
- Establish a comprehensive network of financial partners (bridge financing, credit facilities, etc.) that can be mobilized swiftly according to startup needs.
- Assist entrepreneurs in crafting effective fundraising strategies.
- Create a tailored matchmaking process connecting investors with startups and scale-ups.
- Advise entrepreneurs on financing structures, including instruments, allocation, stakeholder types, and relevant legal frameworks.
- Elevate Investor Day into a premier event in Europe.
- Actively participate in the design, promotion, and strategic development of the event while gathering and utilizing participant feedback to enhance the experience with each iteration.
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree in law, finance, economics or a related field.
- Proven experience in fundraising (venture capital, private equity), with insight into local and international financial mechanisms.
- An established network of European and American investors.
- Expertise in providing strategic advisory services to support startups in their development, structuring, and fundraising preparedness.
- The ability to attract and engage prominent private and institutional investors, coupled with event organization experience.
- Strong leadership and community-building skills, coupled with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in French and English; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
